On October 27, the Paris-based firm Auriga Partners announced an interim close of €80 million for its fund, "Auriga Cyber Ventures II." According to "Les Echos Capital Finance," the cybersecurity fund has a minimum target of €100 million and a hard cap of €120 million. Subscriptions are scheduled to remain open until December, with a potential extension through June 2027.

The fund invests in rounds ranging from seed to Series B and plans to take stakes in approximately 30 European start-ups. It follows the "Auriga Cyber Ventures" fund, which was launched in 2021. Auriga was founded in 1998. According to the firm, two of its cybersecurity investments returned $550 million to investors within a 24-month period (company announcement, May 2026).

Within the "Close Index," 38 venture capital funds are tagged with the keyword "Defence and Security." In addition to Auriga, two other funds specialize in cybersecurity: the "TIN Capital European Cyber Tech Fund V" and the "Osney Capital Fund I," which reached its final close in June 2026.

Among the larger funds in this category is the "DTCP Defense Fund I," which held a first close of €455 million. Auriga’s fund focuses on an earlier stage of development within the same sector and is managed by a team with established experience in the cybersecurity industry.
